BedRock Features

The BedRock Bed and Breakfast is a large, two-bedroom home, run by a retired couple who fell in love with beautiful Grand Forks. This riverfront property is a beautiful blend of country life with city amenities. It was built for comfort and space while staying true to the natural landscape. When available, environmentally friendly options were pursued. The house is highly energy efficient with geothermal heating and xeriscaping principles in the design. The main floor is occupied by the owners with the lower level reserved for guests, but guests are welcome to enjoy the entire house. Balconies offer riverfront views which can be enjoyed for morning meals or an evening cup of coffee. An art study, small kitchen, central sitting area with TV, laundry room, two shared bathrooms, a library, two bedrooms and a third with an ensuite are all available downstairs. A walking trail crosses the lower half of the property and follows the river either into the mountains or downtown. The downtown core is only five blocks away where the twice-weekly farmers market, several grocery stores, library, more walking paths, city park and many other amenities can be enjoyed.
